Our main facilities


Leasing
Leasing is a contract between the Customer and Kingsway, giving the Customer use of Equipment in return for the payment of fixed rentals over a predetermined period. Leasing periods can vary from 24 months to 60 months for certain types of Equipment, such as telephone systems, which demonstrably have a very long life span. Rentals are paid monthly or quarterly by direct debit.

At the end of the selected period, the Equipment can be retained by the Customer if desired, for payment of a nominal single "peppercorn rental". Alternatively, it may be sold with Kingsway's consent, in which case the majority of the sale proceeds will be rebated to the Customer.

All Rentals attract VAT. Leasing Rentals can usually be offset against taxable profits, thereby considerably reducing the effective cost of the transaction.

Lease Purchase
Similar to leasing in that the Customer has the use of the Equipment throughout the selected term. However, following payment of all contracted instalments, the Customer obtains title by payment of a nominal Purchase Option Fee.

VAT is usually paid by the Customer together with the first instalment, and is almost immediately recovered in the next VAT return. VAT is not charged on the instalments.

Tax Paying Customers will claim Capital Allowances, as they would in an outright purchase situation.

Commercial Loan
Only available to first class credit risks such as Accountants, Solicitors and other professional practices - also to high net worth firms and companies.

This form of agreement is usually used to fund the purchase of items such as office refurbishments and works which will become part of the permanent structure of a building. We will also consider funding the acquisition of other professional practices and professional indemnity premiums.

Sale and Leaseback
Kingsway may be able to assist if a business has recently purchased Equipment, which in retrospect it may have been better to have leased.

It may be possible for Kingsway to buy the Equipment from the Customer and for the Customer to enter into a lease transaction with Kingsway.
